A realidade é outra, bem diferente. As 20 locomotivas estão assim distribuídas: 4 em bitola métrica, 3 a vapor e uma elétrica, estão na rotunda em exposição; outras 7, da bitolinha, também estão na rotunda; 1 está no museu; 2 estão em exposição na estação; 2 estão em operação e 3 estão sucateadas de modo vergonhoso nas oficinas.
I - Locomotivas 22, 42 e 58

Mas não só a rotunda, como praticamente A MAIORIA DOS PRÉDIOS precisam de uma reforma urgente, como é o caso do museu, que está com muitas infiltrações, prejudicando a locomotiva 1 (a mais antiga), o carro A-3 e outras peças históricas. A funilaria está parada, quando se precisa de seu serviço a FCA leva a peça para outra empresa, como foi o caso do tênder da locomotiva 42, que teve que ser DESMONTADO E LEVADO DE CAMINHÃO PARA REFORMA.
VI - Os carros de passageiros
